Charleston Culinary Tours combine the best of Charleston history, food and cocktails with unique historic tours that highlight the local cuisine. There are five tours that include Downtown, Upper King Street, Chef's Showcase at The Farmer's Market, Chefs' Kitchen, and Mixology. Each Charleston Culinary Tour visits several different restaurants, bars or the Farmer's Market to combine elements of a historical tour with a culinary adventure! The food on your tour is chosen by our restaurant and bar partners featuring an array of eclectic dishes that provide insight into Charleston's cuisine. On each tour, you will not only have an opportunity to sample some of the Lowcountry's finest food offerings, but also to meet the owners, chefs and mixologists behind Charleston's impressive culinary innovation.
As most tours sell out, all reservations are required in advance. Groups need to be booked at least three days prior to tour. Each tour is limited in size, so it is recommended that you get your reservations early. Charleston Culinary Tours are held rain or shine.

A typical 3 hour harbor cruise will pass by Charleston landmarks such as The Battery, Waterfront Park, Historic Castle Pinckney, under the Arthur Ravanel JR Bridge, and out to Fort Sumter where the Civil War began. You will usually see dolphins playing in the bow wake or feeding in the shallows. If you are an avid bird watcher feel free to bring along a pair of binoculars as there are many species to be seen.
Complimentary soda and bottled water are provided. Feel free to bring any special beverages that you wish to take pleasure in while you watch the amazing sunsets Charleston has to offer. If you prefer to have a dinner cruise, catering can be provided by Caviar and Bananas, they deliver 1st class gourmet meals right to the boat. Pair your food with Fate's very own wine, the exclusive "Fate" Chardonnay, created by Captain Joey at his vineyard in Yadkin Valley, NC. Chilled bottles are available for purchase during your charter.
Overnight stays at the dock for up to 4 guests are available after your sailing trip. Extended day trips which include open ocean sailing in the Atlantic Ocean, or anchoring in the harbor for swimming and fun in the water. Relax after your long day on Fate and sleep on the boat instead of a hotel.
Extended longer range sailing charters past Kiawah & Seabrook islands to Bohicket Marina, or as far as Beaufort, Hilton Head, Savannah and the Bahamas are available by request and can include multiple weeks. Want to see some dolphins? Want to witness some historic sites from the water or see some of Charleston’s beautiful attractions? Catch the Charleston Water Taxi for all your transportation and sightseeing needs. The water taxi links Mt. Pleasant and historic Downtown Charleston. You can relax and enjoy views of the new Ravenel Bridge, while dolphins and pelicans feed alongside the boat. The water taxi runs on a continuous loop around Charleston Harbor between Patriots Point and Downtown Charleston from 9am to 8pm(11pm Friday and Saturday). Use it to get to downtown Charleston’s historic district, the South Carolina Aquarium, the USS Yorktown (aircraft carrier), or just for a relaxing, scenic taxi boat ride. You can get off the boat and take as long as you wish to tour any of the local attractions. The Taxi runs every hour so you catch any of our hourly boats back to your destination.
